Since many of us are spending much more time at home, and potentially spending Halloween home since the idea of our beloved babies going up to stranger's homes and taking something that they are going to be consuming into their bodies during a pandemic seems like a bad idea. (Although I am sure there will be some..) I wondered how I could make my son's Halloween not a total suck fest, and one of the things that I associate the most with this favorite holiday of mine are the movies. Now, I like many of the blood and guts, horror movies and since Vincent is only 3 and a half (yes, do not forget the half!) he obviously cannot watch those, but I am not about to watch Curious George's Halloween or Paw Patrol's Howl-o-ween. So what movies can you watch with your little and still enjoy it yourself?
Hotel Transylvania- 1, 2 or 3 (I don't really feel like 3 gets me in the Hallo spirit, but it is an option.)
Hocus Pocus
It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
Gremlins (I'm a little nervous about this one, but I know he will love it)
The Nightmare Before Christmas (Although I feel it is more a X-mas movie, I could not leave it out)
Monster House
Ernest Scared Stupid
Ghostbusters
Coraline
Frankenweenie (old and new version)
Tower of Terror
ParaNorman
Monster Family
Casper
The Addams Family (animated and non versions)
The Haunted Mansion
Beetlejuice
Corpse Bride
The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad
And finally my favorite and it is the oldest and shortest (only 5:31min long!) Silly Symphonies- The Skeleton Dance
