Be the planet's super hero
We talk about self-care all the time, but what about planet care? You do not have to get a compost toilet, live off the grid and sell your car to contribute to a healthier planet. Any small actions can make a huge difference.

Single use bottle beverages, PB, salad dressing, etc. Not the caps! Clean them out!

High-Density Polyethylene

Milk jugs; juice bottles; bleach, detergent, and other household cleaner bottles; shampoo bottles; some trash and shopping bags; motor oil bottles; butter and yogurt tubs; cereal box liners

Polyvinyl Chloride

Shampoo and cooking oil bottles, blister packaging, wire jacketing, siding, windows, piping

Low-Density Polyethylene

Squeezable bottles; bread, frozen food, dry cleaning, and shopping bags; tote bags; furniture

Polypropylene

Some yogurt containers, syrup and medicine bottles, caps, straws

Polystyrene

Disposable plates and cups, meat trays, egg cartons, carry-out containers, aspirin bottles, compact disc case

MISCELLANEOUS

Three- and five-gallon water bottles, bullet-proof materials, sunglasses, DVDs, iPod and computer cases, signs and displays, certain food containers, nylon
