I have decided to start something fun for Mondays because who doesn't need a little pick me up on this dreaded week starting/weekend ending day? I am going to share with you all some of my favorite things. They might be a brand, person, thing or company, but either way each Monday I am going to do my best to showcase a new favorite thing of mine.
I am starting off with a mother/daughter duo who run the company, Bored Inc. that I have been fully obsessed with lately. They have been working together for over 20 years on different design projects. Their website features the cutest stuff from unicorn enamel pins to cat stickers, but what really caught my eye in the beginning was their Sheroes Collection. In this collection, you can purchase art prints of women such as Rosa Parks, Malala Yousafzai and Hillary Clinton (above), and 20% of the proceeds go to the ACLU.
Then there are the fantastic, extraordinary political items in the shop. You can find enamel pins, patches, stickers, tote bags and more treasures that have sayings such as, "Protect Kids Not Guns" and "Proud Nasty Woman."
Finally, my absolute favorite products are in the Dissent Club. These are items such as "The Supremes". Not the Motown Supremes you are thinking of, but the Supreme Court, and not that asshole "Bart O'Kavanaugh", but the real sheroes of the Supreme Court, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagen. I am obsessed with the RBG patch (above) and the Supremes' sticker (below).
